Christmas Craziness

The Christmas season is so wonderful yet always so crazy. This year was no exception.

We started off the fun by watching the Manhattan Lighted Christmas Parade in early December. Luckily, Tricia had a good parking spot so we could huddle in her car to watch - it was super cold outside.

This is a little out of order, but that's how it goes.
On December 27th our friends Dani and Joe got married in Kansas City. Here is the best-dressed family picture we took including Kendall. Kinley is so happy here because she wanted to go dance.

All night Kinley was on the dance floor. No matter who was up there or what they were playing, she was there. Here she is doing the Macarena (no idea how to spell that). Took me quite a while to get this picture, but it was worth it. Also, she never rotated, but tried so hard to do what everyone else was doing. Obviously got her dancing skills from Tom - oh no, that's not right..I have to MAKE him dance 1 song with me at every wedding.

In mid-December we went to the 2nd annual gingerbread house making party. This year Kinley did it all by herself. I think more frosting ended up on her hands than on her house, but she did a great job, and only asked to eat the candy every 2 minutes.

Ok, so off to Oregon...
This is inside Tom and Bonnie's during the poker party. Kinley jumped rope for the first time. She actually did pretty well. She even helped turn and did great! Later she tried to jump by herself and did great even though the rope was way too long.

Couldn't pass up a picture of all the siblings. Despite the way it looks, I think Emily stayed in the longest.

I tried the best I could to teach Kendall craps, but it was rough going.

Christmas Eve at the big house is always a blast. Kinley had a great time playing with all her cousins. We added it up, and there are now 25 great-grandchildren and only 2 weren't there.

Kendall showing off a couple presents.

Kinley showing off her presents. Always so silly!

When we made it back to our house in Kansas, Kendall got this bear from Santa - she's super excited.

Kinley go a cool Princess Scooter!

We truly had a great Christmas. It is always great to see everyone and celebrate such an important season, but its also nice to get back into the regular swing of things. Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
