The Month of May

Where to begin? I guess I'll start where we left off...

This was my first Mother's Day with two kiddos! It was wonderful. I truley love being a mother and can't imagine my life without my girls. They make my heart swell even when one is crying and one is whining.

Here is our picture, and no that is not Kinley's swimsuit...its her "bra" she tells me.

The week before Memorial Day, Tom had to travel down to Austin for the NCAA regional track meet, so of course the girls and I went along and spent some time with my family.

Kinley and I out on the boat. She didn't like it at first, and by the end she was yelling, "Opa, go faster!!"

This is Kinley and Leah as they were slowing down on the skateboard after riding downhill from the end of the driveway - we only had one near-crash. Pretty good I think.

Our Memorial Day picture and the first family photo we've taken in a while.

Back at the lake with cousin Leah and second cousin Addison.

Back in the day, Greg, Matt, Lori and I had some monster water balloon fights at the lake house, so it was fun to see the next generation take over the tradition. They needed some help, so Aunt Weesie filled them up and Matt was the all-time target. They still have some work to do to get down the proper technique and attack plans, but they have many years to practice.

Kendall loving on her Aunt LoLo. Kendall loves to give big open-mouthed kisses all over your face. She'll actually grab your hair with both hands and pull you in! She's too funny:)

Here are all the cousins on my side of the family
Kinley (4), Mason (10 wks), Leah (5), Ryan (5), Kendall (6 mo), Emma (7), Holly (10) and Cormac (3 mo)

Kinley went to her best friend's birhtday party at the zoo. It was really fun, and I think the best part for them was eating cake and playing on the play place...who cares about animals!

Kendall super happy with the bite of birthday cake she got!

Well, we are so excited it has finally gotten warm and summer has arrived. We are still trying to figure out what the summer holds for us, but I know whatever it is, it will be fun!
